Wat ga je doen?

As a tax manager you deal with both direct and indirect tax. The main activities are as follows:

Direct Tax

• Review of tax computation under the Dutch Income Tax Law, and other relevant laws / regulations and submission of tax return
• Internal audit of documents pertaining to tax computation
• Facilitate between the tax authorities and company(ies) for tax audit cases (if any)
• Prepare of preliminary tax payable and execute scheduled installment payments for respective entities
• Review of invoices for withholding tax (WHT)
• Review of WHT declaration form prepared by OPU under SLA
• Review of agreements and contracts
• DAC 6 related activities – Prepare position as to whether DAC 6 is applicable and reason
• To monitor the meeting of the substance requirement for the OPU that PCIEPBV has signed the SLA with
• Provide tax advice as and when required by the business
• Communication to OPUs and Kuala Lumpur Head Quarter on changes in Dutch Income Tax Law and other relevant laws / regulations

 

Indirect Tax

• Prepare and review of indirect tax reports/transaction listing, consolidation for company(ies) under the Fiscal Unity and submission of indirect tax returns to Dutch Tax Authorities
• Facilitate any indirect tax payment or refund application with the Dutch Tax Authorities
• VAT registration and eligibility/inclusion in the Fiscal Unity (if any)
• VAT de-registration and exclusion from Fiscal Unity (if any)
• Facilitate between the tax authorities and the company(ies) for any clarification, verification, audit cases, cross border transactions, exemption etc. (if any)
• Review of agreements and contracts
• Provide tax advice as and when required by the business
• Updates / communication to OPUs and Kuala Lumpur Headquarter on change in the Dutch VAT Law, Dutch Customs Act, EU Regulations, and any other relevant laws / regulations.

Wat vragen we van jou?

• You own Bachelor's of Masters degree in finance and/ or tax
• You have relevant financial/ tax experience (5-10 years)
• Fluent written and spoken English
